Hello, this is DIS OFFICE.
This announcement is ONLY applied to DIS 1st major, double major, and minor students.
★ For exchange/visiting students, regular and additional course registration is available from September 1st.
i.e. please try to register for courses first by yourselves, and apply for an additional seat if you couldn't make it.
All procedures are handled by the Office of International Admissions and Management (OIAM), so please contact them for more information.

Process for Additional Course Registration is only available through [September 1st at 10:00 ~ September 7th at 17:00, except Saturday and Sunday]. It is not possible to do the additional course registration process during other periods, so students who wish for additional registration should check the schedule by themselves.
Furthermore, in the case of DIS major classes, you can check the remaining seats first, so if there are any seats left, please proceed with the course registration during the Course Add/Drop period on September 1st. Also, we recommend you visit the professor after registering for the course by yourself first.
DIS Office will NOT accept any kind of form of additional registration which is different from the notice that DIS Office has regulated. Please kindly read the notice and then apply for the additional procedure.
DIS Office is not responsible for any problems that arise from not checking the following guidelines during the application process. Please make sure to check the guidelines before applying.

*** If there's space for one of the courses with the same title as the others, the one which is already full, cannot apply for the additional registration.
e.g. Principles of Economics II (1) - 3 spaces left, Principles of Economics II(2) - 0 spaces left -> you cannot apply for the (2) course since (1) has 3 spaces left.

*** In the case of the Volunteer Service, which is applied only to DIS 1st major students after 2019(entry year), in order to limit the registration of courses for other students, only the 2022 and 2023 students can register for the course during the course registration period. For students who have not yet taken this class(your entry year of 2019 /2020/2021), we recommend you send an email explaining why you need additional registration and get permission from the professor. Then, please bring the additional registration application form with the professor's handwritten signature to the DIS OFFICE during the add/drop period(first week of March).
※(2021, 2020, 2019 ONLY) Please submit the application form(with the professor's handwritten signature) to the DIS Office, we will open the additional seats for the Volunteer Service on September 6th (WED) all at once.

[How to apply - General]
In advance, ask the professor for additional registration permission by e-mail, etc.
Please visit the course’s professor and get his/her handwritten signature with the Additional Registration form attached in hard copy if you want to get additional permission.
If the professor disapproves, the DIS OFFICE has no authority to give the student permission to take the course. ONLY students for who the professor has granted permission can apply for the additional course registration. Please be aware that DIS does not accept any inquiries related to this.
Submit the form with the professor’s approval signature to the DIS OFFICE in person. If there’s no hard copy of the form, the additional registration will not be accepted. (Professors’ email approval/approval by verbal form etc. will not be accepted. Only the form with the professor’s signature will be accepted.)
If the professor's signature is forged, sanctions and measures will be taken at the school level.
It is mandatory to check if the personal information of the person is correct in the document, and the DIS OFFICE is not responsible for any problems caused by incorrect information. Also, please check the precautions as mandatory, and write your signature. Please refer to the picture below for instructions.
The available registration time during the course add/drop period is [10 a.m. to 5 p.m.] Among them, applications for additional registration received before 2 o'clock on the same day will be processed on the same day, and applications received after 2 o'clock will be processed the next day.
Only on the last day(September 7th), documents received before 4 pm will be processed on the same day.
Later than 4 pm won’t be proceeded, so please be aware of it.
[Procedures for registration after approval]
- This applies only to students who have been granted permission for additional registration
For students who are permitted additional registration, an SMS will be sent to 02-2173-3315 after being processed by the DIS OFFICE. Therefore, if you wish to apply for additional registration, please register your phone number in the HUFS Web information system(HUFS Portal).
If an SMS was not able to send because the phone number was not registered, an additional registration will be prohibited. Please register your phone number in the Web information system (HUFS Portal).
Receive an SMS message from the DIS OFFICE and re-login the course registration system.
As shown in the picture below, you have to press the "Department Reservation" button and complete the "Register" to save the course registration.
Example:
In addition, if you do not register for the course by 17:00 on the day the message was sent, it will be automatically deleted, so if you fail to register for the course, DIS OFFICE will not be responsible for it and there will be NO extra additional registration.
If you can't see the "Department Reservation(학과예약)" button in the course registration system even after receiving the message, please contact the Academic Support Center and Registrar. DIS OFFICE does not accept related inquiries.
